CUE Artists

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all applications, bookings and participation in programmes, sessions and services offered by CUE Artists (“CUE”, “we”, “us”). By submitting an application or making a payment you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms together with the Booking Conditions Summary.

1. Who we are

CUE Artists provides DJ, music-production and artist-development mentorship delivered in Malta, in the Netherlands and online. Malta-based group programmes take place at INSYNK Spaces. Contact details are available on our Contact page.

2. Applications and acceptance

  • Submitting an application does not create a booking. CUE reviews each application and may recommend a different programme, level or pathway.
  • Applicants must be 16 years or older when the programme begins. Applicants under 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Your place is confirmed only when your application has been accepted in writing and the required payment has been received.
  • Programme availability may depend on tutor availability, delivery format and minimum cohort numbers. CUE may postpone or cancel a cohort that does not reach the minimum number of participants; in that case you may transfer to a later cohort or receive a full refund of amounts paid for that programme.

3. Pricing and payment

  • The complete programme price, including the Core Programme Fee, the CUE Artist Pathway & Programme Services Fee and any applicable VAT, is confirmed in writing before payment.
  • Prices are quoted in euro (EUR). Monthly payment plans are not available unless agreed in writing.
  • Payment must be received in full by the date stated on your confirmation. Places are not held for unpaid applications.
  • Additional services outside the agreed programme scope (extra sessions, studio time, mixing or mastering services) are quoted separately.

4. Right of withdrawal

Where you book as a consumer at a distance (for example online), you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of confirmation without giving a reason, in accordance with applicable EU and Maltese consumer law. If you ask us to begin delivering the programme within that period and the programme has started, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the services already provided. Statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.

5. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds

  • Group programmes follow the confirmed timetable. Missed sessions do not automatically qualify for refunds, replacements or extensions.
  • One-to-one sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to tutor availability. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, are counted as delivered.
  • If CUE or a tutor must cancel a session, a replacement session is offered at no extra cost.
  • Outside the statutory withdrawal period, fees are non-refundable once a programme has started, except where required by law or agreed in writing.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Attend sessions punctually, complete agreed development work between sessions and treat tutors, staff, other participants and studio facilities with respect.
  • Bring any equipment, software licences or project files reasonably required for your programme unless otherwise stated.
  • Follow the house rules of any studio or venue where sessions take place. Damage caused through negligence may be charged to you.
  • CUE may suspend or remove a participant whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive or seriously disruptive; no refund is due in such cases.

7. Intellectual property

  • You retain all rights in the music and creative work you create during a programme.
  • Programme materials, templates, session recordings, CUE systems and private platform content remain the property of CUE Artists or its tutors and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. They may not be copied, shared, resold or redistributed.
  • With your prior consent, CUE may reference your participation, name and artist profile in its promotional materials. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.

8. No guarantee of outcomes

CUE provides structure, guidance, feedback and professional perspective. Participation does not guarantee bookings, releases, label signings, representation, audience growth, press coverage, income or any other commercial result. CUE programmes are private mentorship programmes and are not accredited academic qualifications.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, CUE’s total liability arising from a programme is limited to the fees paid for that programme, and CUE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income or opportunity.

10. Changes to programmes and to these Terms

CUE may make reasonable changes to tutors, session dates, venues or delivery format where necessary, and will inform you as early as possible. Material changes that significantly affect your programme entitle you to transfer or to a proportionate refund. CUE may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force when you book applies to your booking.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Consumers resident in another EU country continue to benefit from the mandatory protections of their local law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Malta, without prejudice to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform and other statutory dispute-resolution options available to consumers.
